Leaving for Sheffield today I am so excited, although anxious and nervous at the same time. The last few weeks have been incredibly hectic, trying to get organised for this trip on top of essays, assignments and exams. Only over the last two days have I really been able to sit down and think purely about this study tour. Dubai kind of scares me a bit, although you always seem to hear more about the negatives than the positives, I’m interested and gaining my own first hand view of the city.

I’m so interested in the history of Sheffield, and the changing significance of the city over time. I’m looking forward to actually being able to see the visual changes instead of simply reading them off a piece of paper or a computer screen.

After a stressful few weeks, I finally feel prepared for whatever this trip decides to throw at me
